La Posada del Castillo is a centrally located restaurant, located right next to the Ducal Castle of Frías. It has become a gastronomic reference in Montemayor. This is evidenced by the awards won on the Montemayor tapas route, Tapando PX Montemayor, in its 2016 and 2017 editions, as well as the brand new winner of the 2019 edition in the traditional tapas category, with its tasty cod timbale with roasted garlic ali-oli.
Also a great place to have breakfast, have coffee or go out for a drink on the terrace under the castle wall.
